Elevating the brand (passion project)
Unreal Snacks is on a mission to change how we look at snacks. They make delicious chocolate treats a lot of us grew up eating, except with way less sugar and no fake stuff.
The brand does not run any ads and their website was lacking polish and refinement so I used that as an opportunity to turn this into a passion project to show some of my brand design capabilities and show some love to unreal snacks because I personally purchase their products (all the time).

My goal was to elevate and re-imagine the brand across digital channels (social, website), OOH advertising, and physical packaging.
New packaging fu
I kept the ads fun and minimal with the pops of vibrant color to allow the product images to really shine. The minimalism is a reflection of the products having less sugar and no added junk.
Early hero image iterations (using the brands original logo)
I explored new brand colors that are inspired by real foods they use to color their treats, like beets and carrots. The gradients were a reflection of the variety of color in their core product (dark chocolate gems).
